Others felt that she was a strong inspiration to them and the musical spectrum, and these people aptly nicknamed her Muse. People all around knew of her gift, and praised her as if she were sent by the angels.
It was as soft as silk, yet still had the strength to travel for mile from her home. Once long ago, in a world probably not too far from our own, there was once a young girl with a voice as beautiful as anyone has ever heard. My second ocarina, a double chamber, has totally reversed this depression in my life, and in the past few weeks, I feel the ease and happiness I once felt againīut the real story I want to tell is not my own. I had the wear-with-all to be able to properly play it, I felt the horrible sting of the artistic depression eating at me once more, and its use dwindled to only once and a while rather than the hype of when it first arrived.
Since receiving my first real twelve-hole ocarina, times had been on and off. After finding it to be a real instrument, and not just one made up for a video game, I had a need I wanted to satiate in the art of music with this instrument. It was then that I turned to the ocarina. Unfortunately, with the opportunity to go to college in another state, darkness overcame me the day I realized I had to sell my set. Yet every time that I did end up playing them, I felt peace and general ease in my life that made me want to continue. While I still kept a nice peace with my drum set during this time, months would go by at a time where I would not play them. There were points where I stopped caring, with the help of an uncaring band director, in which my trumpet became an object in my closet, and became a collector for dust. But all ten of those years were not consecutive. With ten years of musical experience under my belt, it is one of the things I hold onto proudly in my life. This ranges not only in being able to play music, but also sharing a love in listening to music of all kinds. I have, in my opinion at least, a very strong musical background. My own personal reasoning for wanting to learn about the ocarina is very dear to me. No two people may have the same reason to want to learn about the beauty and eloquence of the ocarina. For others, it may be a way of expression in the musical sense. For some, it may be a cute instrument to learn as a hobby, or to even just play a couple of tunes from their favorite game. Depending on who you ask, the Ocarina may mean a lot of different things to a lot of different people.
